Math and Literacy Night

March 10th, 2026

Starting at 5:00PM

The purpose of Math and Literacy Night is to provide parents and students tools and resources that they can use at home to increase math and literacy skills.
Parents are encouraged to bring their students with them to Math and Literacy Night, but are welcome to come without their student. Please bring your student's school ID with you. Students must have a parent/guardian with them to attend.
Every Beer Middle School parent that comes to Math and Literacy Night will learn about KHAN Academy resources to improve their math skills and enter into the BMS KHAN Academy Math Masters Challenge, receive a free math game, and one free book of their choice from our Scholastic Book Fair. One free book per BMS student.

5:00-5:05 Check in and go to the Café for a quick introduction

5:05-5:10 Title 1 Presentation

5:15-5:35 Session 1

5:35-5:40 Break and move to session 2

5:40-6:00 Session 2

6:00-7:00 Parents and students are invited to stay for pizza, all-beef hotdogs, snacks, meet the Beer MS Title One Teachers (in the cafeteria), setup a Parent Portal account to check student grades, learn more about our Title 1 Program, our Parent Involvement Plan, our Parent Compact, and to pick up your one free book and purchase additional books from our Scholastic Book Fair.
